I was born in New Jersey, one of 7 siblings. My parents, Tom and Regina, met when she was a nurse in a British hospital during WWII and he was being treated there. My siblings are Mary, Fran, Marge, Joe, Sue and Greg. My parents divorced when I was quite young, and Mom and the younger kids all moved to Wisconsin. After graduating high school, I took a trade course in broadcast. I then moved to the U.P. in early 1984 for a job at WJPD and this is where I decided to live the rest of my life, staying in the field of media. I started at WLUC in 2001 as the morning show anchor and have been there ever since.
